Amanmayshuthimselfupinadarkroom, anddenythatthelightexists, butitiseverywherewithout, anddarknessexistsonlyinhisownlittleroom.
SoyoumayshutoutthelightofTruth, oryoumaybegintopulldownthewallsofprejudice, self-seekinganderrorwhichyouhavebuiltaroundyourself, andsoletinthegloriousandomnipresentLight.
Byearnestself-examinationstrivetorealize, andnotmerelyholdasatheory, thatevilisapassingphase, aself-createdshadow; thatallyourpains, sorrowsandmisfortuneshavecometoyoubyaprocessofundeviatingandabsolutelyperfectlaw; havecometoyoubecauseyoudeserveandrequirethem, andthatbyfirstenduring, andthenunderstandingthem, youmaybemadestronger, wiser, nobler.
Whenyouhavefullyenteredintothisrealization, youwillbeinapositiontomouldyourowncircumstances, totransmuteallevilintogoodandtoweave, withamasterhand, thefabricofyourdestiny.
